The Library of Things
In Helsinki, a community center started a "Library of Things" โ a place where people could borrow drills, sewing machines, ladders, camping gear, and kitchen appliances.
One man said, "We don't all need to own everything. We just need access."
This small initiative rippled outward โ reducing waste, building friendships, and saving money for hundreds of families.
Most beautiful of all, people began lending their own items to the library, trusting that strangers would care for them.
Scarcity did not disappear.
But fear loosened.
And that was enough.
Reflection: Shared tools whisper the truth that enough grows when ownership loosens.
This, too, is Butterfly Faith.
